There is a new club in South London
what does it mean ?
the man dem have got together
to fulfill their dreams
I wish them well
I just hope they aren’t relying on me
to frequent and rave
and behave scandalously
I have hung up my dress
kicked off my shoes
I am suffering from the effects
of these South London club blues
I have a good feeling on this one
I think it will be a great place
where there will be a lot of fun
I will shrug off the memories
of the clubs that have gone
take my chance
maybe in the new year
holding a champagne glass
they will see me
as I rekindle my raving past
