It’s not what you say
it’s what you don’t say
it’s not what you do
it’s what you don’t do
no one can see it
there are no scars
not visible to the eye
I want to stand up to you
but every bone in my body
says ‘No!’ this wouldn’t do
you have never hit me
well not physically
but the wounds they are deep
you make me question
what I do, what I think, what I eat
I second guess everything
in short I am a nervous wreck
you are oblivious
oblivious of your effect
