Privileges which are not afforded to me

I am working class, clearly and completely Working Class.  I have aspects of aspiring to ascend to another class.  Can you really ascend to another class?  Much of the mistreatment I am at the encounter is more based on class than race.  Well that's what I have been told.  What I have observed is the wealth is held by the middle classes its definitely held with those who own land.  Owning land is key.  I don't own land, I rent my home, areas where houses are cheaper I have noticed Black people are not welcome, discouraged or simply dont feel comfortable.  Mr and Mrs Lawrence paid the price so heavily.  How dare they aspire outside the pre defined boundaries which are put up around my community my race my people.

Despite the attempts to ensure we are not aware of these boundaries they are there.  With the killing of Stephen Lawrence.  I go the message loud and clear if you dare venture outside of the designated areas this is what happened.  You don't have to tell me twice....  Or maybe I am looking at this all wron

Its not a privilege life its is all I know

Somewhere in all families there is that pot of gold

I haven’t completed school

There is no need for that

When you have connections

The networks got your back

Iv’e rebelled in my teenage years

Experimenting with drugs

Its amazing what rehab can do

All you need is money and a little bit of love

So I have walked into this job

Not sure what’s my role

There are all these people around me

Who know all that needs to be known

Some call it nepotism

You can do it too

Oh yeah you have nothing to pass down

Oh dear poor old you

Stop or at Least Be Cautious

I thought I would shared some facts that I have come across in my lifetime. They are important I just want them to be known. Or at least think about the things we do that we take for granted

If I said that the relaxer cream you put in your head

Ends up under your scalp

Slowly poisoning your liver

You would stop or at least be cautious

If I said that the mobile phone that you are using

Is continually transmitting radio active pulses

Whilst it is on even when not being used

You would stop or at least be cautious

If I said that the fats that you consume

Are clogging your arteries

Will one day attack your heart

You would stop or at least be cautious

If I said that most of the food you eat

Turns into sugar

Causing your kidneys to overload

You would stop or at least be cautious

If I said that as a minority on a daily basis

You experience an element of racism

Or negative treatment

You would stop or at least be cautious

If I said that as a young Black Man

You are more likely to be stopped and searched

If you stay calm there will be no charges brought against you

You would stop or at least be cautious

If I said every time you sleep with someone

You are sleeping with all their previous partners

Increasing the chances of contracting a STD

You would stop or at least be cautious

If I said that some people are so damaged

That they are incapable of loving another person

They are best avoided

You would stop or at least be cautious

If I said you would question what I’ve said

Even though you know I am right

I am saying stop

Do not be cautious
