I entitled this Another. As I said this is a subject I will be forced to revisit. Teenagers within the Black community (Predominantly) finding it necessary to end another Black Boys life.
This was shocking when I read the news item, it was his birthday and he was stabbed on a bus his sister simply said ‘He never got to eat his Birthday cake’
The way the media delved into his past was unpleasant it was if they were saying as he had been expelled from the school he was visiting at the time. Somehow it was justified that he was murdered. The Police always look for gang links. So gang members can kill other gang members and that’s ok

Another sixteen year old
Loosing their life on the street
Sixteen is so young
What a way to die
All I can say is why?
Why all this killing?
Is there nothing they can do
Which is equally as thrilling
Sixteen. Sixteen
Life hasn't even begun
Some coward thought it would be fun
To take this beloved son
To end his life before it has started
Now we are forced to mourn the dearly departed
Its too much for me to understand
I walk past these young boys
Not knowing which one won't make it
To be a man
All chances ended
This makes no sense
This I will never understand
By someone you may or may not know
Is this how random life can go
Another boy
Taken too soon
That pain
Goes straight to the womb
