Taking Children For Granted
We are told as Women that to be fulfilled we must have children. What if you can’t have children? There is a large group of women who have difficulties in conceiving, being pregnant and carrying babies full term. Then there are those women who have experienced miscarriages, or still birth. I have two beautiful children, I cannot imagine my life without them, they complete me!
Growing up I was a bit of a TomBoy never dreaming of being a Mother or even getting married. Yet I have had the good fortune to be blessed with children.
Imagine if all you wanted to do was to have children and you simply couldn’t. They say everything is for a reason. Some things are just simply unfair....

She has been waiting a lifetime
To receive that child
She has done everything she can
Even found herself a loving man
Yet still she waits
Others are succeeding
Almost flaunting their successes
Before her right in her face
Have they no compassion?
Taking them out
Dressing them up
Some people get all the luck
She waited and waited
Maybe having children was overrated
She will find something else to do
They were everywhere
Reminding her, of her failings
Of this thing she couldn't do
Of a life she never knew
