I have a problem with lies, I have a bigger problem with people who find it necessary to lie. I am like, I am not that important what does it matter what I think? If I hear the truth is it going to be so shocking, that I will just cut you off and never speak to you again? I find once you start in a lie, you have to continue and it just gets out of hand.
I remember telling a lie once something trivial I was 16 it was to a boy I was seeing at the time, I just made up some silly lie about why I couldn’t come out that weekend rather then say My Mother who was normally so laid back had forbidden me from going out that weekend. Well I guess I was embarrassed and wanted to preserve my street cred, anyhow almost all night I lay awake tossing and turning. Thinking about how wicked I was and I will certainly be going to Hell. So the next day I called him and apologised, he had arranged to take someone else out. There that was my punishment, I reasoned. Look I just can’t abide liars and find much of the reasoning behind it pointless.
The detail, the false data you have to learn and rehearse why bother. The truth always comes out at some point then when the person realises you have lied to them they view you differently from then on. So was it worth it?

#39 Tell the truth
If it is a half truth it is a lie
A white lie is a lie
Don't repeat a lie
Don't breathe life into a lie
Don't conceive a lie
Don’t believe a lie
Don’t teach the young to lie
Tell them its wrong to lie
Then go ahead and say a lie
Makes you a lie
And whatever you teach them from then on
They will believe is a lie
Don’t try to lie
Don’t cry fake crocodile tears in your lie
Don’t tell spin doctor lies
Don’t try and convince me that your lie is not a lie
If it sounds like a lie it is a lie
A lie will consume your time
It will keep you awake both day and night
It’s easier to speak the truth
One lie leads to another lie
Before you know it your are swimming in a sea of lies
Don’t write a lie
That will leave a paper trace to your lie
Speak the truth and it shall set you free
Here is the truth
From now on make that the truth
For you and me
A lie will make you ill
Sometimes I have to wonder
If there is a lying pill
That makes some people
Lie lie lie at will
It eats you from within
Stop your lying
We know lying is a sin
Look at your contorted face
That's the signs that can be traced
You sit and you wait
For your lie to be revealed
One more day not being found out
Tell me how good you feel
Its easier to speak the truth
When you lie
You are saying
“I am so smart” which makes me the fool
I believe some people must have gone to lying school
Have passed with an honorary degree
As they have learnt to lie with ease
I always wonder why people lie
What they achieve from a lie
Trying to protect people from the painful truth
The sooner you speak the truth
It may hurt but you can move on
Stop the lying
When will they learn no one wants to listen
To their lying song
Simply stop the lying
You know lying is wrong
