I have noticed I moan when I am in pain

it is as if words can’t be formed

yet I need to complain

I have noticed I don’t want to talk

I no longer want to communicate

I  will wait till once more I feel great

I have noticed you no longer call

is this too much reality

no happy sounds anymore

I have noticed you no longer drop by

watching my twisted body

brings tears to your eyes

I have noticed you don’t speak of me as a friend

my continued good health was a clause

something we could depend

I have noticed you don’t include me in your plans

it feels just like when we were young

and you first met your man
