I just want to get on with it
Not have to think about what you think
I want to pick up a bottle
Sip some wine
Not viewed as if this was some kind of crime
I want to wear a dress
Having nowhere particular to go
I want to lay in bed
Way after daylight has shown
I want to talk loudly
Express myself proudly
Have long pointless conversations
With whomever I choose on the phone
I want to accept people on face value
Not get involved in the hierarchy
And my position in this show
It is not a conspiracy , it is just very simply
I want to believe we are all trying
To just get on with our lives
The best way we can
Before we inevitably start dying
