hurtful words

Some people just have a way of saying mean things, I don't know if it is intentional maybe I am too sensitive.  Either way it hurts

Causes me shame

I don't want to recall

What you say

I close my eyes

I pretend it is a game

There is no winner

There is no blame

As I continue on

Without complaint

You are not aware

Of this pain

As you are hurting the same
