They said she invented twerking
but can’t you see she is hurting
to be accepted
as a woman in her own right
her background never leaving her behind
as she twerks something that no one can find
she is lost in the hype
of the media skype
she really has no idea what she has done
she has offended me and my sisters
now she is on the run
now I am sure I have been twerking all my life
yet she has coined the phrase in this media haze
now she is running for her life
the lines in the bathroom was not aimed at us
but the ‘Sister’s with the ‘big butts’
dancing like they are in a strip club!’
this line will follow her to her grave
I’ve never danced in a strip club
but I sure know how to rave
are the property of your past
you do not realise you are enslaved
